A. Yes—absolutely.

At Crowned With Good Midwifery Care, postpartum care is an essential part of the journey. Welcoming your baby into the world is just the beginning. I’m here to support you in the tender days, weeks, and months that follow birth—because you deserve care that continues.

 What to Expect:

 Day 1:

A home visit to check on both you and your baby. We assess vital signs, breastfeeding, baby’s well-being, and your physical recovery. You can rest and recover knowing you’re not alone.

 Day 3 (as needed):

An additional visit for those who need extra support—especially helpful for early breastfeeding questions or signs that need a little closer attention.

 Week 1 Visit:

A full check-up to ensure both you and your baby are thriving. We look at baby’s weight gain, latch, sleep, your healing, emotional wellness, and more.

 Week 3 Visit (optional):

This is offered as an extra touchpoint for continued reassurance or specific needs during this transitional time.

 Week 6 Visit:

A final postpartum appointment to review your healing, discuss future planning, and close your care journey with encouragement and love.

 Ongoing Support:

In addition to in-person visits, I remain available to you 24/7 by phone or text for any questions or concerns—whether it’s breastfeeding, newborn care, emotional support, or something unexpected.

Is a Home Birth right for you?

One of the main reasons people have traditionally chosen to give birth in hospitals—or haven’t questioned it—is the belief that hospitals are inherently safer. And for a time, that was true. However, today’s mothers are generally healthier, receive more comprehensive prenatal care, and benefit from higher living standards. On top of that, advancements in medical technology have transformed maternity care.

All of these factors have contributed to making planned home births just as safe—if not safer—for healthy women as hospital births. This has been consistently demonstrated by numerous studies conducted worldwide. More
